Who is looking at the Numbering Resource Issues?
FCC (Federal Communications Commission)
- The FCC has recognized the problem and has requested that the NANC (North American Numbering Council) address the issue with a report due to the FCC by mid September on national number pooling standards. It was suggested that it would also be helpful to the Bureau if the NANC would give number conservation solutions, other than pooling, a very high priority.
