Who is looking at the Numbering Resource Issues?
- T&O (Technical and Operations) - Looking at changes to the NPAC (Number Pooling Administration Center) software to support thousand block pooling.
- NRO (Numbering Resource Optimization) - A new working group comprised of several task groups assessing all methods of number utilization that can provide optimal use of the numbering resources
- ITN (Individual Telephone Number Pooling) Task force - This group is looking at various methods to accomplish ITN pooling
- NANPA (North American Numbering Plan Administration) Working Group - Has made a recommendation that the NANPA handle the National pooling administration function and is currently working on requirements.
