Single Point Of Contact Meeting Issues & Actions

===============================================================================

At least 4 of the participating company's were represented so the Issues

and Status's were reviewed.

ISSUE: Each participating company needs to determine which specific

tests listed in the FCC Field Test Plan available at www.ported.com,

that they will be able to take part in.

Action: SPOC's to send in any changes to the matrix ASAP. Dick

will update the matrix and ensure that it is available

to the Testing Committee for next week's Testing Committee

meeting.

Responsibles: SPOC Team and Dick Dowd.

Status: Dick Dowd will attach the latest Matrix to these minutes

and will update any changes received through Wednesday

June 11.

Action: Bill Belshaw to update the list of test's on the matrix.

Responsible: Bill Belshaw.

Status: Assigned 5/22. Bill left me a hard copy however I need

a soft copy to distribute.

Action: The ISDN Tests need to be added to the matrix.

Responsible: Bill Belshaw

Status: Assigned 6/05.

ISSUE: * In preparation for the FCC Field Test, certain network items

need to be gathered and distributed to the participating company's.

Hamp Oberle put the information gathered into an Excel spread

sheet. Much of the information is still missing.

Dick Dowd will forward the spread sheet to the SPOC Team so

that the holes can be filled in.

Action: SPOC Team members to review Hamp's spreadsheet and send

in changes to Dick Dowd for distro to the Team prior to

June 11.

Responsible: All SPOC's

Status: Assigned 5/29 Dick Dowd called those whom have blanks

open in the spread sheet and requested their input ASAP.

ISSUE: The SPOC Team put together a "Checklist" of items that need

to be completed prior to the start of the FCC Field Test.

This "Checklist" schedule will be saved to Baseline, meaning

that the Scheduled Start and Scheduled Finish dates will remain

the same while the Actual Start and Actual Finish dates will

be updated.

Action: Dick Dowd to attach the Baseline copy to these minutes.

It should be noted that all items between 7/24 and 9/26

are subject to further definition.

Responsible: Dick Dowd.

STATUS: Assigned 6/5. Closed.

ISSUE: NPA-NXXs to be used during the FCC Field Test need to be opened

with the LERG no later than 5/30.

ACTION: Each SPOC to ensure that their company has contacted

the LERG to open their NPA-NXXs. ASAP.

RESPONSIBLE: All SPOC's

STATUS: Complete.

ISSUE: Regarding the NPA-NXXs to be opened for the FCC Field Test, it

was the agreement of the Operations Committee that only those

NPA-NXXs that are to be used to facilitate the FCC Field Test

would be requested to be opened at this time. Bob Bartenstein,

Ameritech reports that 90 some NPA-NXXs appear on the list to

be opened between 7/1 and 7/24, however, only about 21 were

identified by the SPOC Team as being needed for the FCC Field

Test.

Action: Bob Bartenstein to Email the list to Dick Dowd for distro

to the SPOC Team. SPOC Team representatives to identify

which of the NPA-NXXs are theirs and explain why there is

a difference between what they reported as being needed

for the FCC Field Test and what was actually opened. This

is due back via Email prior to June 11.

Responsibles: Bob Bartenstein, Dick Dowd, SPOC Team.

Status: Bob Bartenstein Emailed the NPA-NXXs to Dick. Dick

attached them below to the meeting minutes. Awaiting

input from SPOC Team regarding differences.

===================================================================

ISSUES: Overall Test Time Line, porting TNs, which are to be ported,

by whom and on what dates, testing partners when called for

in specific test scripts, Non-ported numbers to be used for

testing, etc., are to be discussed and brought to resolution

at the face-to-face meeting at Hoffman Estates on June 19/20.

NEW ISSUES:

-----------

ISSUE: SPRINT is not sure whether the other participant's have 911 trunking

to SPRINT's PSAP. If not then 911 tests will not be able to be

performed on ported numbers that are ported into or out of SPRING.

WorldCom does have 911 trunking into SPRINT.

Action: Each SPOC is to determine whether their company has trunking

to SPRINT's E911 Selective Router or not. If not and if they

don't intend to install these prior to 7/24. That company

will not be able to test 911 on numbers ported out of the

SPRINT area. (Note- This will also mean that no actual

customer numbers can be ported out of the SPRINT area until

after the sale to Ameritech is consummated or the company

opens trunks to the SPRINT 911 Selective Router, otherwise

the 911 will not function.) This is not a show stopper for

the FCC Field Test, it could mean that only those participants

who have trunking to the SPRINT 911 Selective Router will

be able to test 911 on those numbers that are ported out

of SPRINT. SPRINT will be able to test 911 on numbers ported

into their switch. All others will test 911 via the Ameritech

911 Control Router.

Responsible: SPOC Team.

Status: Assigned 6/5.

Action: SPRINT to identify which of their 911 locations utilizes

a PC db for 911 and provide that information.

Responsible: Larry Lovett.

Status: Assigned 6/5.

Action: SPRINT will need to identify a SPOC to handle the 911

coordination for their area like Nancy DeRoo is doing

for the Ameritech 911 area.

Responsible: SPRINT

Status: Assigned 6/5.

ISSUE: Several participants have been unsuccessful in obtaining a place

to stay in the Chicago area the week of June 9.

ACTION: The SPOC Team decided to move out the date for the next

Test Team Committee meeting and the next SPOC Team meeting

by one week. The face-to-face meeting is now scheduled

for June 19 & 20 at the Hoffman Estates facility of Ameritech.

RESPONSIBLE: SPOC Team

STATUS: Meeting scheduled at Hoffman Estates for June 19 & 20.
