The list of test cases below were selected by
at least 4 of the 6 the FCC Field Test Participating Company's
as needing to be performed during testing. This list should
be considered by service providers that are new to local number
portability. Being that these tests were considered important
enough to be tested during the FCC Field Test, they might need
to be tested by new service providers of LNP as well. Upon review
the new to LNP service provider might determine that enough testing
was performed during the FCC Field Test and that only a minimal
sub set of these tests will need to be performed in their region.
Therefore, while not actually being a recommended minimum set
of tests to be performed by each service provider, it is strongly
suggested that service providers who are getting ready to plan
their testing effort review the list below.
