What methods are available today?
While there are a variety of number conservation methods being considered and implemented, there are two which are drawing the most consideration for use today:
- Rate Center Consolidation
- Rate Center Consolidation can combine several individual rate centers into one rate center
- Provides flexibility in assigning numbers across a larger geographic area
- Can be implemented in areas without LNP (Local Number Portability)
