Phase II Team Members,

Attached is the FINAL Phase II Requirements Excel Spreadsheet that was agreed to in the July 21, 1997 Steering Committee Meeting. Also, additional requirements from MCI are in an attached MS/Word document.

The Equipment/Switch Vendors are responsible for the following:

• Review the attached lists
• Determine the feasibility of developing the Phase II Requirements as outlined by the Service Providers
• Those requirements ranked "high" should be thought of as mandatory
• Those requirements ranked "low or med" we would still like costs on to determine final selection
• Calibrate other SP requests, from around the country, and determine if those can be included for the Ameritech Region too
• Use 3Q98 as a target date for implementation
• Determine ballpark costs for all of the requirements and notify the SPs whether monies could be saved by elongating the timeframe for implementation (i.e. later than 3Q98)
• Equipment vendors are to provide us an update after the next Steering Committee Meeting on August 21, 1997 on how their feasibility/pricing exercise is going
• Feasibility and Cost information to your "customer" by September
